Here at Mercedes-Benz of Shreveport, we are proud to call the Shreveport community our home. Those who live here know that our community is full of kind and giving people, and we consider it a privilege to serve them at our dealership. But friendly sales and service is just one way that we serve the local residents from our home in Shreveport to neighboring areas like Alexandria and Longview. What really gets us excited is getting involved with our community on a personal level, through community outreach, charity events, and more.

Giving Back, Connecting, and Having Fun

Whether it’s working with local charities or hosting dealership events that are fun for all ages, nothing brings us more joy than getting involved and giving back. As a Group 1 Automotive dealership, we value being an active part of the community in Shreveport.

If our community and its people are impacted by a natural disaster, we consider it our duty to help with relief efforts. Throughout the year, we organize to give back to those who shape our city and help make it great, including our schools and educators, medical personnel, food banks, police, and more. And everyone needs to have fun now and then, so we love to host dealership events for families and pets when we can!

During the year, we partner with many charities like: Project Angel Food, Midnight Mission, Union Rescue Mission, Boy and Girls Club (Watts and Westbrook locations), Pearls of Hope (Breast Cancer), Legacy Ladies (helping disenfranchised youth at our inner city schools), The KIS Foundation (Sickle Cell Disease), Brotherhood Crusade (youth development program), Sickle Cell Foundation, Carousel of Hope (Child Diabetes), National Holocaust Museum Foundation, Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, Beverly Hills Fire department Scholarship Fund raiser, Beverly Hills Police Scholarship Fund Raiser, The Upside of Down (Down Syndrome research and support), Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters Camp Waldorf (sending kids to camp), Los Angeles Golf Classic (for the American Cancer Society and Cancer research), and more. Domestic Violence Awareness

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month! Mercedes-Benz of Shreveport is proud to support survivors and families facing abuse in Shreveport Bossier by shining a light on domestic violence. The 3rd annual Illuminate: Shining Light on Domestic Violence will be held on October 21, at the LA Boardwalk concluding with a Lantern lighting at the conclusion to shine light on each person’s journey in honor, as well as those lost to Domestic Violence.

Fraternal Order of Police Shreveport/Caddo

We partnered up with Fraternal Order of Police Shreveport/Caddo for the their annual Christmas program of “ shop with A cop” where they target less fortunate children in the Shreveport/Bossier parish area. This is their 22nd annual Christmas fund raising program. Our donation will help in purchasing Christmas gifts for the children within our community.

LifeShare Partnership

Mercedes-Benz of Shreveport were honored to sponsor and be a partner with LifeShare. A special thank you to the LifeShare staff, our clients and employees that joined us to donate.

LifeShare’s mission is to connect donors and the lives they impact. By participating in this event, we had the opportunity to double the impact in our local community and ensure a strong and robust blood supply within our community.
